Bukka is a home instalments payment and construction service that helps you build your house step by step. You make monthly instalments, and we start building once each instalments milestone is reached — from foundation to roofing to finishing.
Joining Bukka is simple. To get started, you pay a one-time registration fee of UGX 500,000. This fee helps us:
- Create your profile and open your Bukka account
- Conduct a site visit to assess your land (if you have one)
- Confirm your commitment to building your home with us
- Give you access to our home builder support network, including free pre-designed house plans, trainings and personalized guidance
Once you register, a Bukka Advisor will contact you to guide you through the next steps.
You make monthly instalments based on a plan we agree on. Once a milestone (like foundation or roofing) is fully funded, Bukka begins that phase of construction. We only build what you’ve paid for — step by step — so there’s no debt, no pressure, and no delays
You can start with as little as 1,000,000 UGX. At Bukka, we work with your pace and your budget. We’ll help you choose a plan based on your income, land status, and home goals.

No, Bukka is not a loan provider. We help you build using your savings through monthly instalments — safely and transparently.
Now, Bukka is only available for people planning to build a house in Uganda. Those living in Uganda or outside Uganda can also join as long as their building project will be in Uganda. Payments can be made locally or through trusted family or friends.
